Murdoch drives in four in Oshawa Royals homeopener
Oshawa Royals Jeff Murdoch went 3-for-5 with a game high four RBI in Oshawa's 11-8 victory over the Thornhill Redbirds Sunday afternoon at Kinsmen Stadium.

Glanbrook sweeps doubleheader versus Milton
Game One saw a magnificent pitching duel between two established veterans in Milton's Ian Zettle and the Grizzlies Ryan Colling. Zettle left after eight innings having allowed no runs on five hits while walking one and striking out nine. Glanbrook touched up reliever Jeff Felker for a run in the bottom of the 9th for the 1-0 victory. The Grizzlies took Game Two 10-2.

Red Sox trio combine for 5-hit shutout over Toronto
Brad Hogeterp, Brian Speck and Stefan Strecker combined for a five-hit shutout as the two-time defending champion Brantford Red Sox blanked the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-0 in Intercounty Baseball League play Sunday at Dominico Field at Christie Pits.

Mombuquette has impressive weekend for Fat Cats
Despite dropping two of three to the Mississauga Twins this weekend, Ottawa Fat Cats Cody Mombuquette had a big weekend going 8-for-11 (.727) with three RBI and four runs scored. He currently leads the IBL with a .563 average (9-for-16).

Joseph leads Twins in opening weekend versus Ottawa
Branson Joseph had a strong opening weekend for the Mississauga Twins as he led the offense with six hits going 6-for-12 (.500) with five runs scored. The Twins took 2 of 3 games from the Fat Cats.
