Oshawa blanks Pioneers 10-0
The Oshawa Royals took advantage of five Markham errors as they blanked the Pioneers by the score of 10-0 Monday night at Kinsmen Stadium.

Oshawa starter Jason Graham went the distance throwing a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts.

The Pioneers Brad Binns was charged with the loss after allowing nine runs (only 3 earned) on nine hits with four walks and three strkeouts over six innings.

Leading the Royals 11-hit attack was Sean Cunningham who was 3-for-4 with four RBI. Jeremy Brittain, Brent Tamane and Chris Papalia all contributed with two hits each while combining for seven of Oshawa's ten runs in the victory.

Tecumseh captures fifth straight
The Tecumseh Thunder continued to roll as they captured their fifth straight victory defeating the Windsor Athletics by the score of 7-6 Monday night.

Tecumseh's Andrew Masojc and Tom Beale both went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and two runs scored. Dan McFarlane also recorded two hits including a double and two RBI. Jason Boutette also drove in two runs in the victory.

Thunder starter Andrew Pierce went four innings allowing six runs (4 earned) on six hits and three K's in a no decision. Reliever Dan Wolicki recorded the victory after throwing three shutout innings with four walks and three strikeouts.

Windsor's Barry Keith suffered the loss allowing seven runs (6 earned) on 11 hits over six full innings.

Red Sox roll past Kitchener 9-0
The Brantford Red Sox continued to roll as they blanked the Kitchener Panthers by the score of 9-0 Monday night at home. Brantford has now won 10 of their last 11 contests including four straight.

Leading Brantford was Chris Emmanuel who went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. Joe Colameco contributed offensively going 2-for-5 with a homerun, three RBI and two runs scored. Hyung Cho also added two hits in the victory.

Four Brantford pitchers combined for 17 strikeouts on the night. Red Sox starter Gabe Ribas recorded his first victory after throwing four innings off shutout ball allowing just one hit with five strikeouts. Mike Meyers struck out four over two innings of work not allowing a hit while Brian Speck collected six K's over two full innings allowing three hits. Robert Ramsdale would strikeout two of the three batters he faced in the 9th.

Kitchener's Brandon Farquhar suffered the loss after giving up four runs (3 earned) on five hits with five walks and four strikeouts.
