Kitchener comes from behind to defeat Maple Leafs 6-5
The Kitchener Panthers trailed 5-0 after two innings before answering with four runs in the third and one each in the fourth and ninth innings as they defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-5 Thursday night.

Panthers starter Tyler Wilson lasted just two innings allowing five runs on nine hits. In relief, Kyle McKay, Joey Paulin and Derek Sinko combined for the final seven innings of shutout ball allowing just one hit. Sinko recorded the victory improving his record to 4-0.

The Maple Leafs Cody Powell suffered the loss after loading the bases in the bottom of the 9th with Brent Mitchell scoring the winning run.

Mat Taube and Brent Mitchell led the Kitchener offense adding three hits each. Kevin Childs added a hit and drove in two runs.

For Toronto, Kyle DeGrace went 2-for-4 with two homeruns and four RBI. Danny Gibbons went 3-for-4 with an RBI while Raul Borjas collected two hits in the loss.

Baycats defeat Mississauga 4-3
The Barrie Baycats captured their league leading 11th victory of the season as they defeated the Mississauga Twins by the score of 4-3 Thursday night. In the bottom of the ninth Barrie's Dave Latour scored the winning run after an error from the Twins Carlos Garcia.

Leading the Baycats was Jordan Lundberg who went 3-for-4 with a run scored. Dave Latour went 2-for-2 with two runs scored while Matt Logan, Ryan Davis and Donavan Latour all collected single RBIs.

Barrie starter Paul Spoljaric went seven strong innings allowing one run on one hit while striking out seven in a no decision. Chris England recorded the victory after going 1 1/3 innings allowing one run on two hits.

Mississauga's Kyle Benoit was charged with the loss after giving up an unearned run in the ninth. Kyle Langille was the lone Twins highlight going 2-for-3 with a triple.
