Canadians Arsenault throws no-hitter in 11-0 victory
Whitby ace Mike Arsenault was in one word: dominant Thursday night.

Arsenault threw a seven inning no-hitter, striking out 10 with the only blemish being a one out walk in the bottom of the first inning as the Canadians cruised to an 11-0 win against Martingrove.

Ben Anderson gave Arsenault all the runs he would need, belting a two-run homer to left field in the 2nd inning. Adam Sylvestre followed with a triple, and then scored on a single by Colm Blaney to make the score 3-0.

In the 5th, the Canadians extended the lead to 6-0 as Rob Patterson walked with two out and scored on a two out long ball by Trevor Cain. Chambers Middlebrook followed Cain's blast with one of his own.

In the 7th, the Canadians blew the game open adding five more runs as Dave McElroy doubled to lead off the inning, and Jeff Kingdon walked. With one out, Cain hit a ball that ate the third baseman up to load the bases. With two out, Anderson hit a laser that snuck through the third basemen's legs, scoring two runs. Sylvestre would follow with a three-run homerun making the final 11-0.

Arsenault preserved the no-hitter by shutting the Sox down in order, in the 7th completing an utterly dominant performance on the hill.
