The Erindale Cardinals won their fifth game of the season Monday night as they defeated the Milton Red Sox by the score of 5-1.
The Cardinals Ian Bala threw six innings of shutout ball allowing just three hits for the victory. Dan Estey pitched the 7th inning allowing the lone Red Sox run.
Leading the Erindale offense was Frankie Coccia with three hits. Chris Dubnyk and Andrew Mullen both contributed with a double and a single while Aaron Pitts belted a solo homerun. The Cardinals outhit Milton 11-4.
Milton starter Ian Zettle took the loss allowing three earned runs on 10 hits. Cavin Bratton and Jon Roth both added doubles for the Red Sox.
