East York records first win
East York starter Ryan Kitchen gave up two hits, and two runs over five innings of work while Ben McPhee worked a scoreless final four innings for the save as the Bulldogs defeated the Thornhill Redbirds 3-2 Tuesday night. Troy Dawe and Devlin Connelly hit back to back solo shots in the 4th to lead the Bulldogs offense.

Garner goes seven strong in Baycats 5-1 victory
Barrie Baycats starter Adam Garner went seven strong innings allowing one run on six hits with four strikeouts as Barrie defeated the Guelph Royals by the score of 5-1 Tuesday night.

Ryan Spataro and Matt Logan both went 2-for-4 with an RBI and run scored to lead the Barrie offense. Guelph's Adam Reynolds fell to 0-2 on the season after going 6 2/3 innings allowing five runs on seven hits while registering five walks and five K's in the loss.
